CLG Promotes JD Dempsey to Director of Sales

Coastal Logistics Group (CLG) is proud to announce the promotion of JD Dempsey to Director of Sales. With over 12 years of experience in the logistics industry, JD has played a key role in CLG’s success, having served in various positions, most recently as Business Development Manager.

In his new role, JD will lead the strategic direction and execution of sales and business development across CLG’s broad portfolio of services. He will focus on driving revenue growth through targeted planning, team leadership, and customer relationship management. His responsibilities also include building and scaling a high-performing sales organization and working closely with operations and account managers to ensure seamless and strong client engagement.

Outside of work, JD is an active member of the logistics community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Savannah Traffic Club. He’s also an avid golfer and a devoted husband and father to his 7-year-old daughter—with a new baby girl expected to arrive any moment now.
