CLG Welcomes DJ Mayer as Business Development Manager in Charleston

Coastal Logistics Group (CLG) is excited to welcome DJ Mayer as our new Business Development Manager for our Charleston, South Carolina, location. DJ brings 34 years of experience in the logistics industry across Sales, Operations, and Leadership, with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain execution.

Throughout his career, DJ has worked across multiple modes, including drayage, freight forwarding, and LTL. This cross-functional background allows him to approach customer needs from both an operational and strategic perspective, delivering practical solutions in complex logistics environments.

As a native of Charleston, DJ brings deep regional knowledge and long-standing ties to the Lowcountry. He has built his life and raised his family in the area, giving him a strong connection to the market CLG continues to serve and grow within.

In his role, DJ will focus on expanding business development efforts across the Charleston region while strengthening customer partnerships. His industry background and local insight further support CLG’s commitment to delivering reliable, integrated logistics solutions.
